Let us tell you all about the fabulous raffle prizes that have been very kindly donated to us in aid of the Macmillan pancreatic cancer charity. If you are unable to make our Christmas fair on Friday evening but would like to purchase a raffle ticket then please speak to Clare, raffle tickets are five for £1.
Up for grabs we have:
As you will know the fair and carol concert are free, as is Santa’s Grotto and refreshments, however there will some “traditional” Christmas fair stalls for which there is a small cost of either 20p, 50p, £1 or £1.50. Any money raised from stalls will go directly towards resources for nursery. Don’t forget to bring some small change with you if you want to join in the fun! 😊 We look forward to seeing you all. As you will hopefully be aware, we are holding a Christmas carol concert at nursery at 4pm on Friday 21st December 2018.
All children have been included in rehearsals regardless of what day they attend. Children who are already at nursery on Friday will automatically perform in the carol concert, but if your child does not attend on this day, we would love you to bring them in to nursery to be involved. If you would like for them to join in, we are asking parents to be here with their child for 3.50pm for a 4pm start. We must remind parents that if you do choose to bring them on Friday, you will remain responsible for your child even though you will be on nursery premises. We are of course also inviting parents of children who are already in nursery on Friday to come and watch them perform at 4pm. Again, we ask that arrival be at 3.50pm for a 4pm start. The carol concert is outside so please remember to wrap up warm and bring umbrellas just in case! (The children will be singing undercover but will need warm waterproof clothes). After the carol concert has finished, all parents are then welcome to take their child straight to enjoy the Christmas Fair and visit Santa in his grotto, which opens/starts at 4.30pm. As you are aware our car park is quite small and can become a little manic at busy periods, for this reason we are asking parents to be aware of how and where they are parking and if possible to either walk to nursery or park in local streets to reduce the amount of congestion. We thank you for your patience and understanding. Nursery Management Christmas week is nearly upon us! Where has the time gone? Santa will soon be on his way!
