After a four-week-old baby was attempted to be snatched from a car in West Bromwich when the mother was doing a school drop off at Ryders Green Primary School, we would like to remind all of our parents to be vigilant whenever dropping off or collecting their child from nursery; particularly when other children are in the car with them.
We are fortunate to be situated in a quiet residential area in Aldridge, but we take safety and security very seriously at The Old Railway House and want to take this opportunity to remind parents to always be alert. Parents are reminded not to leave children in pushchairs or unlocked cars alone, even if they are only popping in to nursery for 5 minutes. Children not in our care at the time, must be supervised and are the responsibility of parents when on nursery premises. You can read the full story on the Express and Star website here.
