The Poppy Road Project

We are taking part in the Poppy Road Project 2018 on Station Road this November. You may or may not have heard about this community project, if you haven't, residents and the local history society are coming together to decorate the entire road in poppies to mark the 100 year anniversary of the first world war. Many soldiers who fought lived on Station Road so it's a very meaningful thank you to them and the history which we must never forget.

The children at nursery are creating lots of poppies to decorate nursery with. We are calling all parents, past and present to join in and help us make, create, paint, colour, glue, stick, knit as many poppies as possible.
