Did you know...? As part of our commitment to teaching our children about nature, the environment, and promoting healthier food choices, we planted some fruit trees in our nursery garden which were given to us by The Tree Council as part of their 'Orchards for Schools' Campaign - to enable us to grow our very own fruit-bearing, wildlife-enhancing, carbon-storing miniature 'orchard'. We also received a small grant from Food for Life, Soil Association, which we invested in buying a small greenhouse for our growing area, to start growing some of our own vegetables. We also have a compost bin where we put all of our food waste to turn in to lovely rich compost for our planting.
