The Government is introducing new ways to try and help support parents with childcare costs.
They have finally launched their 'Childcare Choices' website, which parents can visit to find out more information about Tax Free Childcare and the 30 hours funding entitlements. You can visit the site here: www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/ With another bank holiday coming up - we thought we'd suggest a few fun food recipes for you to try with your tiny tots this bank holiday! A few of them we already do at nursery so your little ones may be teaching you a few things ;)
EASY PEASY PIZZAS Who has got time to roll dough these days?! FRUIT SKEWERS Inspired by BBQ season, how about making some fresh and colourful salad skewers What's needed:
These are just two of our favourites, but loads more ideas can be found on this website: https://www.buzzfeed.com/melissaharrison/cooking-with-kids?utm_term=.hcG0d7rgZ#.aeZ8J6RLZ HAPPY BANK HOLIDAY! The children in Platform Room are very proud to welcome the latest little addition to their room.... 'Monster' the hamster!!
We are very excited about Monster, we are already totally besotted with her - she has a lovely new home on one of the shelves in Platform Room, and the children have already been enjoying watching her run around in her wheel, and have helped Emma and Jess clean out her super duper 'pod', making her bed fluffy and comfortable. We are enjoying learning about her and making sure she has lots of water to drink and food to eat. We will post some pictures of her very soon! |
The Old Railway Care ConductorsWe'll keep you up-to-date with nursery news & events, as well as any important information we feel would be useful for you to know.
